Yoga Class Descriptions

Chair Yoga.  Can't get down to the floor because of knee or hip problems?  Using a chair as a prop and focusing on proper breathing, we practice poses which increase strength, stamina, flexibility and balance.

Gentle Yoga.  Enjoy a midday session of gentle yoga to say thanks to your body for a morning's work and to prepare mind and body for a joyful approach to the remainder of the day.

Gentle Yoga.  Relax your body, mind and spirit after a day's work.  This class offers gentle poses to restore energy and create a feeling of peace within.

Senior Yoga.  We do get down to the floor in this class, but use chairs and props to reap the full benefit of the poses.  Join this group of vibrant seniors dedicated to promoting excellent health.

Yang Yoga. This class builds core strength, balance, flexibility and endurance.  It is vinyasa style, which means the poses are linked by movement.

Yin Yoga. This class focuses on the connective tissue and joints of the body.  It is great for back pain, breaking down scar tissue, healing old and preventing new injuries.  You will come to a new understanding of your body!
